ITS ALIVE! *cue manical laughter and lightning*

Its been a while hasn't it? Well, another year has gone by and soooooo much has happened. Last June (late june, early july) I went to Germany for my pilgrimage for church and had an AMAZING time. To put it in a nut shell, I stayed in Munich and Berlin, doing all of the touristy things as well as going to visit all of the historic and religious places in and around the city. I would have to say that my favorite part of Germany was going on a daytrip out to the Alps. The mountain air took a while to get used to seeing as i'm used to the pollution that comes with living in the suburbs. After Germany came school and me almost failing Algebra II, but thank kami (japanese for god), I PASSED BY THE SKIN OF MY TEETH! I also recieved a one (the lowest score possible) on my AP Comparitive Government test. But my parents werent mad.
Fast foreward to the present, I now have a job, working at McDonald's. The pay and hours aren't too bad but i hate coming home every night smelling like french fries and hamburgers. I also went on a mission trip to New Orleans with my church to help rebuild houses and all that good stuff. I had a fantastic time and met people from all over, especially when i passed out lunches to the volunteers when i did Mobile Loaves and Fishes. Now, Mobile Loaves and Fishes is a program run by Trinity Church in New Orleans. The goal is to provide food for volunteers out working on different projects around the city and whatever is left over goes to whoever comes on the last stop (usually natives of New Orleans). When i wasn't pasing out food, i was working on a house for a family who could not get the money they needed to rebuild their house because the house was under the restraunt they owned.I must say, thanks to my working on the house in New Orleans, I can now put up drywall, put caulk up to fill cracks outside, scrape off paint and then repaint the outside of the house (all while singing songs from whatever musical was named).
