I'm not dead yet I swear.
So, I have alot of things to catch up on don't I? Well, school started and i'm officially a junior now. My creative writing teacher is completely insane(in a good way) and I love that class. Taking mostly IB classes except for Math and Creative Writing....I think...... Im still working at Mickey D's and it sucks, but at least i have my own money.... I want the new ipod nano, which makes me wonder if my mother will let my buy it......Please okaa-san? Anyway, other then that start of school and work there really isnt anything new on the home front. Nothing new on the anime front either. Not that i've found at least. I should go, I'll post again when I can...

Thursday Thirteen
I'm posting my Thursday Thirteen a day early because i don't know if I'll be on tomorrow....
Here we go:
Thirteen things about working fast food:
1.) It astonishes me how stupid people can be when it comes to swiping a credit card.....
2.) The regulars that come to the place I work don't look obese.(that isn't to say that they are healthy...)
3.) My shift never really ends when its supposed to. (although i wish it did)
4.) Break always goes by quicker then i want it to
5.)MY SHIFTS ARE TOO LONG!!! (well, they feel that way)
6.) the largest total amount of money that had to be paid for an order was around 50 $
7.) When I go home, I smell like french fries.
8.) The breakfast menu is way too confusing for normal people (maybe that's why I'm not normal...)
9.) You always have to be polite, not matter how stupid people are.
10.) I discovered that I can actually count!
11.) Be patient with the turons (tourists+morons=turons)
12.) When turons ask you for directions, you need to be specific.
13.) Posted my first thirteen!

Vacation!
I'm back again and I finally got a break from work (i took a week off) to go and see family i havent seen sice my birthday, which was several months ago. So I get to relax and laugh seeing as i didn't tell the manager working today that i wasn't going to be there..... *laughs nervously* Oh well, what's done is done! Nothing new on the home front other then my older brother going back to college and my entering my third year in high school. Helping my brother move back in with my mother's parents was okay. I do have to say that he brought a bit too much stuff with him when he came back home for the summer. Nothing new anime wise either other then the cast list for Ouran High School Host Club being released a few months (or weeks...i can't remember...) The cast list is as follows:
Caitlin Glass as Haruhi Fujioka
Vic Mignogna as Tamaki Suou
Greg Ayres as Kaoru Hitachiin
J. Michael Tatum as Kyoya Ohtori
Luci Christian as Mitsukuni Haninozuka
Mike McFarland as Ryuuji "Ranka" Fujioka
Patrick Seitz as Umehito Nekozawa
Todd Haberkorn as Hikaru Hitachiin
Travis Willingham as Takashi Morinozuka
Aaron Dismuke as Yasuchika Haninozuka
Brittney Karbowski as Hinako Tsuwabuki
Carrie Savage as Momoka Kurakano
Cherami Leigh as Kirimi Nekozawa
Christopher R. Sabat as Ritsu Kasanoda
Eric Vale as Toru Suzushima
Jamie Marchi as Chizuru Maihara
R Bruce Elliott as Kasanoda's Father
Absolutely fantastic cast list! I do give credit to Anime News network for releasing the cast list and i must also add that i have absolutely nothing t odo with the voice actors, ANN, or Ouran High School Host Club. They all belong to their respective owners. Some of you might recognize a few of the voice actors because they played in the immensly popular Full Metal Alchemist ( i have nothing toi do with this either. It belongs to its respective owner.). I can't wait for the release! MUST BUY! That's all for now i guess. I'll post again when i get the chance.

ITS ALIVE! *cue manical laughter and lightning*
Its been a while hasn't it? Well, another year has gone by and soooooo much has happened. Last June (late june, early july) I went to Germany for my pilgrimage for church and had an AMAZING time. To put it in a nut shell, I stayed in Munich and Berlin, doing all of the touristy things as well as going to visit all of the historic and religious places in and around the city. I would have to say that my favorite part of Germany was going on a daytrip out to the Alps. The mountain air took a while to get used to seeing as i'm used to the pollution that comes with living in the suburbs. After Germany came school and me almost failing Algebra II, but thank kami (japanese for god), I PASSED BY THE SKIN OF MY TEETH! I also recieved a one (the lowest score possible) on my AP Comparitive Government test. But my parents werent mad.
Fast foreward to the present, I now have a job, working at McDonald's. The pay and hours aren't too bad but i hate coming home every night smelling like french fries and hamburgers. I also went on a mission trip to New Orleans with my church to help rebuild houses and all that good stuff. I had a fantastic time and met people from all over, especially when i passed out lunches to the volunteers when i did Mobile Loaves and Fishes. Now, Mobile Loaves and Fishes is a program run by Trinity Church in New Orleans. The goal is to provide food for volunteers out working on different projects around the city and whatever is left over goes to whoever comes on the last stop (usually natives of New Orleans). When i wasn't pasing out food, i was working on a house for a family who could not get the money they needed to rebuild their house because the house was under the restraunt they owned.I must say, thanks to my working on the house in New Orleans, I can now put up drywall, put caulk up to fill cracks outside, scrape off paint and then repaint the outside of the house (all while singing songs from whatever musical was named). There you have it, my year in a nutshell. If you want me to elaborate more on anything i mentioned then don't hesitate to let me know.
